We stayed at Hotel Vagar for 2 nights and were able to explore the natural beauties of the island. The room was clean and tidy, and the automatic check-in was very convenient. The staff, although only available in the mornings, were really nice. The location is also practical, being close to some of the main tourist destinations. The hotel is right next to the airport, making it great for your first or last night before a flight, with a 5-minute walk to the terminal. The breakfast was hot and tasty with good coffee, and the bed was very comfy. Plenty of parking available if you're hiring a car.

Conveniently located 5 minutes walk from the airport. Close to attractions like Leitisvatn Lake and the ferry harbor. Clean rooms with unique room entry system. Attention to detail evident, even toilet paper sealed. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

I loved being able to easily walk to the terminal when I arrived late in the evening. The buffet meals offered in the dining room are plentiful and tasty. Additionally, the hotel provides a putting green and golf equipment for guests to enjoy.
